District  European

Parlement Européen

Located near our establishment, the European district brings together European institutions such as the European Parliament which is regularly open to the general public. To visit it, all you have to do is go directly to the site to check the current opening hours (these may vary depending on European summits, parliamentary holidays).

The district is home to Place du Luxembourg, which is an ideal place to eat or have a drink on the terraces but also to meet people there, especially on Thursday evenings because it is here that young people but also people from the European institutions gather.

Downtown

Located 20 minutes away, the city center is the ideal place to stroll and admire its iconic Grand-Place, Manneken Pis, but also the so-called "secret" dead ends which can hide bars, restaurants, galleries ...

You can visit its museums such as the comic strip which mainly pays homage to Tintin, the musical instruments museum or you can contemplate more than 7000 musical instruments from all eras.

Located beyond the European district, the park built on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the independence of Belgium in 1880 consists of a large green space and presents a triumphal arch of 3 summits, an architectural feat of the French architect Girault.

Its large alleys will lead you to the Pavillons des Passions, the Royal Museum of the Army and Military History, the Royal Museums of Art and History.

Atomium

Created on the occasion of the 1958 World's Fair, the Atomium should normally have been destroyed at the end of it, but ultimately was not. It has become one of the essential symbols of the city of Brussels and has made the Heysel district famous.

During its visit, you will have the opportunity to take a stroll through its tubes and spheres as well as to discover the secrets of the history of the building.  It will also be an opportunity to offer you a splendid 360 ° panoramic view of Brussels and its surroundings. If you are hungry, you can extend your viewing experience by going to taste typical Belgian dishes at the panoramic restaurant.
